A loaf club that runs itself

Your regulars get bread every week or every other week. They pick a pickup spot, pay by card, and hold their bread for vacation on their own. You just see how many loaves to bake.

The demo is a working bakery you can click around. No signup, nothing to install.

The Loaf Club subscriber list, and a subscriber holding her bread until October 24 from her own page.

Right now, your regulars live in a notes app

  • You text each subscriber to ask if they want bread this week.
  • Someone goes on vacation and you bake a loaf nobody picks up.
  • You sort pickups by hand: the church lobby, the cafe, your porch.
  • Payments come in late, or not at all.

Proof keeps the list, the schedule and the payments. You see how many loaves to bake and pack, and where each one goes.

What you get

Weekly or every other week

Subscribers join from your subscription page. They pick their loaves, how often, and where to get them. They pay by card, and the charge repeats on their schedule through your Stripe account.

  • More than one loaf, or more than one kind, per subscription
  • A notice period before the first delivery, 2 days by default
  • Each week's loaves show up on the demand board
The Loaf Club signup: every other week, picked up at the Grace Church lobby on Saturday.

Pickup places with their own days

Add the places you hand off bread: a drop point like a church lobby, a partner cafe, pickup at your door, or home delivery. Each place has its own days and times. A place with no days set is not offered.

Four pickup places, each with its own days: a church drop point, a partner cafe, porch pickup and Thursday delivery.

Vacation holds, without the texts

Every subscriber gets a private link to manage their plan. They can hold their bread until a date, pause, resume, change loaves, day or place, or cancel.

A hold means no deliveries and no charges until that date. Then it starts again by itself.

A subscriber on hold until October 24, with no deliveries and no charges until then.

The 7-day sheet

The subscription sheet shows the next 7 days, grouped by place, with pack totals for the week. Open it on your phone while you bag the bread, or switch to a single day.

The subscription sheet: Tuesday at the cafe, Saturday at the church and the porch, and pack totals for the week.

Questions about bread subscriptions

Something else? Email help@tryproof.io and a person will answer.

Can I offer a monthly plan?
Not yet for new subscribers. Today they choose weekly or every other week.
How do subscribers pay?
By card when they sign up, then again on their schedule. Charges go to your own Stripe account. Proof takes no cut.
Can a cafe be a pickup spot?
Yes. Mark one of your wholesale accounts as a pickup spot for subscribers and give it days and times.
Do subscription loaves end up in my bake plan?
Yes. Each week's subscriptions are on the demand board, due at your default ready time, so they are batched and planned with everything else.
