Know your regulars and your numbers

See who buys what and how often, what each cafe is worth, and how your sales and margin add up week to week. No spreadsheet on Sunday night.

The demo is a working bakery you can click around. No signup, nothing to install.

The Proof dashboard: owed by wholesale, active subscriptions, low-stock ingredients, the next drop and what to bake.

Right now, your numbers are a guess

  • You think the Saturday drop pays best, but you are not sure.
  • You could not name your top 20 customers.
  • One cafe takes a lot of your time. Is it worth it?
  • You baked 18 pumpkin loaves for 21 orders. Again.

Proof keeps the records while you sell and bake, so the answers are already there when you look.

What you get

Every customer, remembered

Each customer has a profile with their order history, favorite products and spend over time. Know who to thank, and notice who has not ordered in a while.

A customer profile: 42 orders, $1,286 spent, a weekly subscription, spend by month and favorite loaves.

Each cafe, by the numbers

Every wholesale account shows volume by product, spend over time, recent requests and invoices. You see which accounts grow, and which ones only take your mornings.

A cafe's account: loaves by product and spend by month.

Where the money comes from

Revenue by day or by week, split into retail, wholesale and subscriptions, with your best-selling recipes. Subscription revenue is an estimate, since a subscription has no price tag of its own.

Six weeks of revenue split into retail, wholesale and subscriptions, and the top two recipes.

Margin and production, from real batches

When a batch is finished, Proof saves what it cost. Margin reports use those numbers, by recipe and by drop. The production report sets demand next to what you actually baked, so you see where you came up short.

  • Margin by recipe and by drop
  • Unit cost over time
  • Demand, baked and planned for each recipe
Margin by recipe for the quarter, and demand against what was baked, with pumpkin 3 loaves short.

How it works

    Sales, margins and production.

  4. Step 4

    Change one thing

A price, a batch size, or which cafe you keep.

Questions about customers and reports

Something else? Email help@tryproof.io and a person will answer.

Do I need to set anything up for reports?
No. Reports come from your orders, deliveries and finished batches. Margin needs recipe costs, so add ingredient prices first.
Can I get my data out?
Yes. There is no export button yet. Email help@tryproof.io and we will send you a full export.
Which plan includes analytics?
Starter includes your customer list with order history. Customer and wholesale analytics come with Microbakery and Bakery.
