Who we are

Proof is operated by Daily Manna Bread LLC, doing business as Proof System.

Proof (tryproof.io) is software that small bakeries use to take orders, run bread drops, and keep in touch with their customers. Proof sends texts and emails on behalf of the bakeries that use it. This policy explains what personal information is collected when you order bread, sign up for drop alerts, or subscribe to a bakery that uses Proof, and what is done with it.

What we collect

This is collected when you place an order, sign up for text alerts, subscribe, or contact a bakery or Proof.

• Your name.
• Your mobile phone number.
• Your email address, if you give one.
• Order details, such as what you ordered, pickup or delivery choices, notes, and payment status.
• When and where you agreed to receive text messages.

How we use it

• To take, prepare, and hand over your orders.
• To manage pickup and delivery.
• To send drop alerts, reminders, and pickup updates for the bakery you signed up with, only if you opted in.
• To send receipts and order confirmations.
• To answer your questions and keep records.

Payments

Card payments are handled by Stripe. You enter your card details on Stripe's secure checkout. We do not store your card number.

Service providers

We use a few companies to run the service: Twilio delivers text messages, Postmark delivers email, Stripe processes card payments, and our hosting provider runs the website and database. These companies are processors. They handle data only on our behalf, to deliver the service, and under contract. They may not use it for their own purposes.

We never sell, rent, or trade personal information.

Text messaging

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as the bakery needs them to run its business and meet tax and accounting rules. We keep your contact details until you ask us to delete them. If you opt out of texts, we keep your phone number on a do-not-text list so you are not texted again.

Opting out

• Text messages: reply STOP to any text. STOP ends texts from every bakery that uses Proof.
• Email: use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email.
• Or email help@tryproof.io and we will remove you.

Access and deletion

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email help@tryproof.io. We will reply within 30 days.

Children

Our service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you think a child gave us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We use reasonable steps to protect your information, including encrypted connections and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We will post the new version here and change the effective date above.
