Every loaf you owe, already added up

Your drop orders, your loaf club and your cafe orders land in one place. Proof adds them up by day and by pickup time. No more counting DMs in a notebook at 10 PM.

The demo is a working bakery you can click around. No signup, nothing to install.

Saturday on the demand board, with a cafe sending a request from its portal.

Right now, your orders live in five places

  • Pre-orders in a Google Form, and a few more in Instagram DMs.
  • Loaf club names in a notes app. Cafe orders in a text thread.
  • Venmo screenshots to check who paid.
  • A notebook or spreadsheet you redo every week, after the kids are in bed.

Proof does the adding up. Open one board and see every loaf you owe, who it is for, and when it is due.

What you get

One count, however you sell

The demand board pulls in paid drop orders, this week's subscriptions and planned cafe deliveries. Each recipe is listed under the day it is due, with retail, wholesale and subscription counts side by side.

  • Grouped by due day, two weeks ahead by default
  • Look up to 180 days ahead for a holiday rush
  • Only paid pre-orders count, so a dropped checkout never inflates the bake
Saturday's demand: 65 loaves from the Saturday Bake drop, 26 from the Loaf Club and 38 for Milk + Honey Coffee, 129 in all.

Cafe requests that follow your notice rule

Cafes send requests from their own portal, and your notice rule is built in. Set it to 3 days and nobody can ask for bread tomorrow morning.

You see each request with its date, loaves and note. Turn it into a delivery or decline it. It joins the board when you accept.

  • Days of notice is one setting, 3 by default
  • Requests are requests until you accept them
  • Accepted requests become planned deliveries
Two wholesale requests waiting for a yes or no, and a cafe's request form that will not take a date inside the notice period.

Due times, not just due days

A loaf due at 7 AM is a different bake from one due at 2 PM. Every line on the board has a needed-by time. For a drop it is the start of pickup. For a cafe it is the delivery time. For subscriptions it is your default ready time.

Saturday by the clock: Loaf Club ready at 7:00 AM, a cafe delivery at 8:30 AM, and drop pickup at 9:00 AM.

From the board to batches

When the count looks right, make batches for everything due through a date. Proof splits each recipe by its batch size and skips loaves you already have batches for, so you can run it again without doubling up.

How it works

  1. Step 1

    Sell the way you like

Run a drop, open a loaf club, or say yes to a cafe. Each one feeds the board.

  2. Step 2

Orders count when they are real

Paid pre-orders, active subscriptions and the cafe deliveries you accepted.

  3. Step 3

    Read the board by day

Each recipe, when it is due, and where the loaves are going.

  4. Step 4

    Make batches

Preview the batches, change a batch size if you need to, and confirm.

Questions about demand board

Something else? Email help@tryproof.io and a person will answer.

Do unpaid orders show up?
No. A drop order counts once it is paid. If a customer leaves checkout, the order expires and never reaches the board.
What if a cafe asks for bread tomorrow?
The portal will not let them. The earliest date they can pick is today plus your days of notice. You set that number in Settings.
How far ahead can I see?
Two weeks by default. You can look up to 180 days ahead.
Is the demand board on every plan?
Yes. The demand board, batches and the bake plan are on every plan, starting with Starter at $19 a month.
